I've been working on this crochet Amineko kitty since last October.He has been sitting on my desk and keeping me company (with 3 legs,no mouth,and no tail) for quite a while now.(He's a great tapestry needle holder,BTW) A few days ago,I decided to finish him up.
I whipped the remaining foot up in no time.I was all ready to attach it...and lo and behold-the navy beans I had been using to weight the other appendages down with were either
a.)Used for something else,
or,
b.)Have been thrown away.
Don't you just HATE when stuff like that happens?You are INCHES away from finishing something and BAM!The plans are foiled until you can get to the grocery store.
Agh.

Making cute lil plushies is the reason I wanna take up crocheting... But I couldn't go past crocheting the second row because I don't understand the diagrams (eeks slow learner) XD
